The Process
Step 1: Eco-Friendly Harvesting
Cork is carefully harvested by hand from the bark of cork oak trees, a process that does not harm the tree, allowing it to continue growing.
Step 2: Cleaning and Cutting
After harvesting, the raw cork is meticulously cleaned and cut, preparing it for further crafting.
Step 3: Polishing and Finishing
The cork is polished using sandpaper by skilled women artisans, enhancing its natural texture and creating a smooth, refined finish.
Step 4: Artisan Craftsmanship
At this stage, our skilled artisans bring the cork to life, meticulously crafting and assembling it into beautiful products such as planters and tealight holders. Each piece reflects the artisans' expertise and dedication, ensuring every item is both functional and a work of art.
